ScratchGPIO has support for getting the current cheerlights colour http://www.cheerlights.com/
Just tweet #cheerlights and any colour from red,green,blue,yellow,pink,purple or white and it will be autmagically picked up and then you can grab the value into Scratch and use it 🙂
